“The Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS) is dedicated to providing a culturally diverse community of students that fosters togetherness and knowledge for those who have an interest in medicine. We provide resources, guidance, and invaluable connections to create a network of undergraduate students, UCSD School of Medicine students, faculty, and healthcare professionals that MAPS members can use and grow on their path to success and matriculating into medical school to become culturally competent physicians. In partnership with SNMA at the School of Medicine, we host events and administer mentoring programs to assist students from backgrounds that are underrepresented in the medical field today. To stay tuned-in with upcoming MAPS events, you can subscribe to our newsletter, follow us on Facebook and Instagram (@mapsatucsd) , and check out our website. “
